I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with nearly 20 years of experience working with adults, teens, children, families and couples in a variety of therapeutic settings.
My therapy practice focuses on helping clients of all ages on a range or issues including relationships, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, self-esteem, anxiety and shame. I have also supported clients struggling with depression, disordered eating, stress related to toxic work or family environments, divorce, medical trauma and parenting. Many of my clients are survivors of physical, sexual and/or narcissistic abuse. These painful experiences require courage and compassion to heal from.
In addition to private practice, I have worked in several mental health settings including as a school counselor, substance abuse counselor for teens, grief counselor and in home family therapist. I have worked extensively with immigrant, minority and refugee populations and have a deep understanding of the devastating effect that oppressive systems have on mental health.
